Step-Down transformer

Used for power transmission, sub-transmission, and distribution.

Power: Up to 250 MVA  

Voltage: Up to 245 kV

Manufacturing and testing atandards: IEC 60076 / IEEE C57.12.00 / IRAM 2099

Voltage regulation: On-load or off-circuit

Refrigeration: ONAN, ONAF, OFAF, ODAF, OFWF.

Cooling insulating fluid: Mineral oil, natural ester oil (biodegradable), synthetic ester oil (biodegradable).

Product description

The step-down transformer is widely used in substations of electric utilities and many other industries. They are a key component of electrical power systems. In general, these transformers can be ordered with off-circuit regulation systems or with on-load tap changers. For units of larger power, they can be manufactured as a three single-phase transformer bank.
