Tubos Trans Electric (TTE) has shipped two 30 MVA power transformers rated 31.5/6.3 kV, which will be installed at ANCAP (Refinería de la Administración Nacional de Combustibles, Alcohol y Portland), a refinery located in La Teja, Department of Montevideo, Uruguay.

The above mentioned transformers are part of the "Low Sulfur Gasoil and Gasoline at La Teja Refinery" project which involves three new facilities: a Gasoil Desulfuration Plant, a Selective Gasoline Desulfuration Plant and a Sulfur Recovery Plant. The Company was also awarded the contract to supply the distribution transformers to be installed at the refinery, which will be delivered during the first quarter of the year.

In this way TTE adds another export transaction, reinforcing the long-term commitment with its customers in the region and its presence in overseas markets.
