Tubos Trans Electric completed the provision of a new power transformer of 20 MVA in relation 33 / 13,2 kV

(Río Negro, June 6, 2020).- Cooperativa de Electricidad Bariloche (CEB), received today a new power transformer purchased to Tubos Trans Electric that will be installed in the future East Transformer Station.



The transformer, with a power of 20 MVA and a ratio of 33 / 13.2 kV, will bring the installed capacity by CEB from 33 / 13.2 KV to 90 MVA in its transmission / distribution subsystem, and is equipped with remote protection and measurement accessories which enable its operation from the CEB's Operation and Control Center.

The future East Transformer Station is part of the CEB improvement plan aimed to provide multiple benefits to various sectors of the community and to productive and educational developments such as Aeropuerto 2000, the National University of Río Negro, INVAP, and the new Treatment Plant of the CEB.

CEB´s President, Carlos Aristegui, stated that “these works are a priority to be in tune with the needs of the neighbors."

This is the third unit of these characteristics supplied by TTE to CEB together with others of lower power that already provide service in another company's Transforming Stations (Cipresales, Ñireco and Perito Moreno).
