TTE is implementing its new management tool: Scheduler, which allows for improved production planning and control. Since the outset of its development in May 2009, the new management tool has been installed in the company across all production areas, including the engineering sector. Each area is informed of scheduled tasks, on a daily basis. In the afternoon, feedback is given on the extent to which those tasks were carried out, enabling a precise task scheduling for the following day.

This has enabled access to real-time information of the progress made by each of the factory's production sectors, identifying possible inconveniences in each of those areas and acting accordingly. In addition, the tool affords improved logistics for the supply of materials using resources in a more efficient manner, and allows greater accuracy in the machinery maintenance scheduling.

The implementation of Scheduler has given TTE considerable versatility and effectiveness when deciding on substantial scheduling changes.
