NEWS. TTE takes part in the IEEE's Transformer Committee in Houston, U.S.A - 03/11/2010
From March 7 through March 11, Tubos Trans Electric, represented by its Engineering Manager, participated in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' (IEEE) Transformer Committee for the second time, in Houston, Texas, United States. The IEEE is the world's largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity, serving the interests of over 382,000 members in the electro-technology and information communities in close to 150 countries.

Within the committee, TTE is involved in the working group preparing the standard for transformers operating at temperatures higher than those currently set by ANSI C57.12.00 Standard. It is also part of the group tasked with the study of the regulations on transformers used in wind power generation.

It has also taken part in the working group developing standards for insulators used with elevator transformers, currently unregulated.

TTE's involvement in the committee puts us at the forefront of new technologies, reinforcing the company's commitment to continuous updating and improvement.
