Personnel of HAEFELY (Switzerland) and the University of Tucumán started up a HAEFELY Impulse Analyzing System.

TTE has recently acquired for its 2.4 MV HAEFELY Impulse Generator a HAEFELY HiAS® 743 High Resolution Impulse Analyzing System, a multi-channel precision digital impulse analyzing system of the highest performance class, to process the records obtained through lighting impulse or operation tests conducted to verify the supportability of the equipment manufactured by TTE. Measurement evaluation and analysis of impulse voltages and currents can be performed according to IEC 61083, IEC 60060, IEC 60076, IEC 60099, IEC 60230 and IEC 61083 the relevant standards for High Voltage Impulse Testing.

This device was manufactured by HAEFELY, an international market-leading manufacturer of high voltage test equipment, and was started up during the first two weeks of June this year by Eng. Michael Ramseyer (HAEFELY), Eng. E. Zaretzky (CONIMED), Eng. E. Nanni (High Voltage Lab and National University of Tucumán), and TTE technical personnel at the Villa Páez Plant located in the city of Cordoba.

With this new investment, TTE ratifies its commitment with technological progress, a key factor to continue manufacturing high quality transformers with world-class competitiveness levels.
