The project is part of a Consolidation and Expansion of Power Distribution Work Plan being conducted by the National Ministry of Planning.

(Buenos Aires, December 2014).- Recently TTE and the 2 local energy distribution companies signed purchasing orders corresponding to 11 transformers.

Edenor will be provided by 5 80 MVA transformers at 132 kV. The first 3 are about to be installed in the Tortuguitas station, Morón (Hurlingham) Station and Tapiales Substation respectively.

Meanwhile Edesur will be provided with 2 transformers of 40 MVA at 132 kV and 4 80MVA transformers at 132 kV. The first 40MVA transformers are already installed on the Pompeii Station.

These new devices are vital to improving the distribution of electricity, which will benefit thousands of users of Buenos Aires and its surroundings in critical periods of high consumption.
