INFRASTRUCTURE. Electrical Laboratory
The Company owns a highly equipped electrical laboratory where besides routine and type tests, special test are carried out. Some of the equipment in the laboratory include:
- Impulse voltage generator Umax 1000 kV, 32 kJ - N. Rivera
- Resistive voltage divider Umax 1000 kV, four dividers - N. Rivera
- Impulse voltage generator Umax 800 kV, 40 kJ - Haefely
- Capacitive voltage divider Umax 800 kV, two dividers - Haefely
- Impulse voltage generator Umax 2400 kV, 180 kJ - Haefely
- Automated Multiple Chopping Gap Umax 1800 kV - Haefely
- Capacitive voltage divider Umax 2000 kV, two dividers - Haefely
- Vertical Sphere Gap - 750 mm and 250 mm spheres - Haefely
- Generator controls and rectifiers for each of the Nazario Rivera and Haefely Generators.
- Motor Generator 500 - 600 HP / 3 MVA 150 Hz - 200 Hz and all the accessories required for its operation.
This equipment enables the in house testing of all transformers produced by us.
