Research and Development is considered a corner stone in the pursuit of technological update and continuous improvement of product quality, process efficiency and environmental preservation. Tubos Trans Electric is strongly committed in the constant search of innovative technical solutions to fulfill client's requirements.
To that end the company has created a working unit of highly qualified personnel exclusively dedicated to the study of physical phenomena associated to the transformer's operation and its application in design, calculus and manufacture. In this manner TTE continues with its knowledge enrichment achieving the technological update necessary for the development of the industry.
Nowadays The Company is working together with various research centers and universities in several research projects.
DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH TEMPERATURE TRANSFORMER (HTT)
Project developed together with DUPONT. The aim of the project is the development of in house technology to provide with calculus and design tools for the manufacture of reduced size transformers, with efficiency values superior or equal to the present market standards, meeting the temperature limitations established by IEC 60076-14; with competitive prices. This technology includes: calculus methodology, non-traditional material selection, and manufacturing methodology.
DEVELOPMENT OF BIODEGRADABLE DIELECTRIC COOLING FLUIDS (FDRBio)
Project developed together with the Center of Excellence in Product and Process of Cordoba (CEPRO COR). The aim of the project is the development of Biodegradable Dielectric Cooling Fluids, which are non-toxic and produced from natural oils for its use in electrical transformers.
